Activities - how the charity spends its money
Par Bay Community Trust has been set up to serve the community of St Blazey, Par and Tywardreath in Cornwall, by preventing or relieving poverty, advancing the health of residents, developing skills, advancing education and assisting in the provision of recreational facilities. Initially we aim to fulfil these aims by means of a Community Hub.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (“OBJECTS”) ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:- 4.14 TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY IN THE AREA; 4.12 TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA; 4.13 TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF TYWARDREATH, PAR AND ST BLAISE IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; 4.1.5 TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE OR THOSE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMARY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES; 4.1.6 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE AREA; AND 4.1.7 ANY OTHER PURPOSE RECOGNISED AS CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES
