Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘OBJECTS’) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF GIRLS AGED 5 TO 15 YEARS OLD WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWISE RECEIVE A FORMAL OR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE SUBJECTS OF FORCED MARRIAGE AND FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION IN PARTICULAR BY: (I) INFORMING GIRLS AGED 10 TO 15 YEARS OLD WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF FORCED MARRIAGE OR GENITAL MUTILATION OF THEIR LEGAL RIGHTS AND THEIR OPTIONS; (II) EDUCATING THE FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES OF SUCH GIRLS ABOUT THE SUBJECTS; (III) EDUCATING POLICY MAKERS, THE MEDIA AND OTHER OPINION FORMERS ABOUT THE SUBJECTS; AND (IV) COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE SUBJECTS AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS.
