Activities - how the charity spends its money
SAMI supports passionate, enthusiastic and talented individuals with powerful ideas to improve the current state of mathematics education in African countries. We provide expertise and funding necessary to implement, sustain and scale these ideas. SAMI currently supports projects involving maths camps, maths clubs, statistical software development, and increased use of technology in schools.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN MATHEMATICS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) SUPPORTING INITIATIVES THAT PROMOTE MATHEMATICS AND IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION IN AFRICA THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, FUNDING, CONSULTANCY SERVICES AND VOLUNTEERS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT SUCH INITIATIVES; B) CARRYING OUT RESEARCH INTO THE EFFECTIVENESS OF NEW TEACHING AND LEARNING INITIATIVES IN MATHEMATICS, THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE DISSEMINATED FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT.
