Charitable objects
The objects of the Association shall be as follows: 1. To promote the benefit of the residents of East Wavertree and Childwall and the neighbourhood (called "the Area of Benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race, political, religious or other opinions by working in partnership with the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in order to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure. 2. To maintain and manage community facilities for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above object. 3. To promote community participation in healthy recreation, including Tennis, Bowls and other activities deemed appropriate by the Association. 4. The Association shall have no affiliation to any organisation of a political or religious nature. The Association shall have power to affiliate to any governing body related to the activities taking place within the Association and to other organisations with similar charitable objects.
