THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PUBLIC LIVING WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT: (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH (INCLUDING THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS), IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO,: (I) PROVIDING SUPPORT TO PERSONS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, INCLUDING BY PROVIDING ADVICE, SUPPORT AND INFORMATION; (II) MAKING THE VIEWS AND EXPERIENCES OF PERSONS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA KNOWN TO HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PROVIDERS; (III) ENABLING PERSONS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS TO HAVE A VOICE IN THE DEVELOPMENT, DELIVERY AND EQUALITY OF ACCESS TO LOCAL HEALTH AND CARE SERVICES AND FACILITIES; AND (IV) PROMOTING AND ORGANISING CO-OPERATION AND BRINGING TOGETHER MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND AND SERVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS.
