TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF NATIVE RED SQUIRREL POPULATIONS IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT ACROSS THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS BY: A) SUPPORTING LOCAL VOLUNTARY GROUPS ENGAGED IN WORK TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE SPECIES. B) RAISING AWARENESS OF AND EDUCATING THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO ENSURE ITS SURVIVAL IN THE NORTHEAST.
