THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT, GUIDANCE AND ASSISTANCE TO, AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF, RESIDENTS OF SOUTH BRADFORD, WITH PREFERENCE BEING GIVEN TO PUPILS AND MEMBERS OF STAFF OF BUTTERSHAW BUSINESS AND ENTERPRISE COLLEGE, AND ANY MEMBERS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE FAMILIES, WHO ARE CARING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SUFFERING FROM A CRITICAL OR TERMINAL ILLNESS, OR WHO EXPERIENCE A CRITICAL OR TERMINAL ILLNESS, OR WHO HAVE SUFFERED A BEREAVEMENT; TO PROMOTE THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PUPILS AT BUTTERSHAW BUSINESS AND ENTERPRISE COLLEGE BY: (A) PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHARITABLE WORK AND CHARITABLE GIVING AMONGST SUCH PUPILS, DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; AND (B) ENABLING SUCH PUPILS TO TAKE PART IN ACTIVITIES WHICH BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE, DEVELOP A SENSE OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR ENHANCE PERSONAL SKILLS.
