THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY (‘THE OBJECT’) ARE: TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, AMONG PEOPLE WHO ARE PRACTISING MUSLIMS, BY: 3.1 PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL, CONFIDENTIAL AND ACCESSIBLE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC FAITH BASED COUNSELLING SERVICES AND OTHER RELATED RESOURCES AND SERVICES; 3.2 DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING GOOD PRACTICE IN COUNSELLING AND THERAPY AND RAISING PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND COMPETENCE BY SUPPORTING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF COUNSELLORS; 3.3 ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH AND THE ROLE OF COUNSELLING AND THERAPY IN PROMOTING AND PROTECTING GOOD MENTAL HEALTH.
