Charitable objects
(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ANSTEY AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES BY THE PROVISION OF A VOLUNTEER RUN LENDING LIBRARY AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION. (2) TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF ANSTEY IN LEICESTERSHIRE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS IN PARTICULAR, BY: (A) PROVIDING COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND TRAINING (B) ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING LEARNING AS A LEISURE ACTIVITY AND FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT (C) ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING LOCAL ARTS AND CRAFTS AS LEISURE ACTIVITIES (D) PROVISION OF INFORMATION MEDIA SUCH AS THE INTERNET AND AN INFORMATION CENTRE (E) PROVISION OF PRE-SCHOOLS AND OUT-OF-SCHOOL EDUCATION SUCH AS PLAYGROUPS OR HOMEWORK CLUBS IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER: TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY LIBRARY AND TO MAINTAIN OR MANAGE OR CO-OPERATE WITH ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A LIBRARY FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
