TO APPLY THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND IN PROVIDING A LECTURE (OR SERIES OF LECTURES) IN EACH YEAR FOR THE FURTHERANCE OF MEDICINE AND IN PARTICULAR THE SCIENCE OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY THE SAID LECTURE OR LECTURES TO BE NAMED AND FOREVER KNOWN AS THE "ERIC RAWLINGS MEMORIALS LECTURES" AND SUBJECT THERETO IF FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO AWARD FROM TIME TO TIME A PRIZE TO THE PERSON CONSIDERED BY THE TRUSTEES TO BE THE BEST MIDWIFERY STUDENT AT HOPE HOSPITAL IN THE YEAR IN QUESTION.
