Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS AND PRIMARILY THE SOUTH ASIAN INHABITANTS OF LEEDS METROPOLITAN DISTRICT AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION, DISABILITIES, OR OF POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATION IN A COMMON EFFORT TO: I) ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE SAID INHABITANTS II) PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OF THE SAID INHABITANTS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE III) RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE HEALTH THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE IV) PROMOTE GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE INHABITANTS AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM TO PARTICIPATE FULLY IN THE LIFE OF THEIR COMMUNITY IN WAYS WHICH ADDRESS AND ALLEVIATE AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL AND PARTICULARLY AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL CAPABILITIES THROUGH LEARNING AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES. TO RELIEVE SICKNESS, AND POOR HEALTH AMONGST PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISIONS OF EQUIPMENT AND LOCAL SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND BY ENHANCING THE SKILLS OF LOCAL PERSONNEL.'
