Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH THROUGH DECREASING MERCURY AND HEAVY METAL CONTAMINATION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) PREVENTION OF MERCURY AND HEAVY METAL DISCHARGE INTO THE ENVIRONMENT AND REDUCTION OF NEUROTOXIC RAIN BY PROVIDING SAFER TECHNIQUES, RECYCLING, BETTER EQUIPMENT AND EDUCATION; AND (B) ADVANCING THE REDUCTION OF MERCURY AND HEAVY METAL CONTAMINATION IN EXISTING MINING WASTE.
