Activities - how the charity spends its money
S.T.A.N.D - RECOVERY CENTRE exists in order to reduce the harmful impact of addiction on users, their families, partners and society. STAND Recovery Centre provides safe and secure supported housing for people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction in the Clacton on Sea area. Residents in our service are supported by staff to become abstinent from drugs and alcohol and rebuild their lives.

THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF ADDICTS, RECOVERING ADDICTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN CLACTON ON SEA AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, SUPPORT, ADVOCACY, SIGNPOSTING, HOUSING AND INFORMATION TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILLNESS OF ANY DESCRIPTION OR IN NEED OF REHABILITATION AS A RESULT OF SUCH ILLNESS BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR WORK AND RECREATION ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.
