CLAUSE 3. OBJECTS THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL EDUCATION), WELFARE AND HEALTH CARE OF PEOPLE PRIMARILY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) UNDER THE AGE OF 25 IN DEVELOPING PARTS OF THE WORLD, PRIMARILY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) IN THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY: 1. ESTABLISHING AND RUNNING PROJECTS TO ENCOURAGE CHILDREN OF SCHOOL AGE TO ATTEND SCHOOLS AND TO ASSIST IN THEIR EDUCATION AND WELFARE BY PROVIDING A PLACE FOR THEM TO CONTINUE THEIR LEARNING IN SAFE SURROUNDINGS AND THE PROVISION OF MEALS AND SUPERVISION FOR THEIR GENERAL WELFARE. 2. AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS AT ANY SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTE OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION (PRIMARILY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PAYMENT OF THEIR FEES AT SUCH EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT) AND/OR TO PREPARE ANY SUCH PERSON FOR ENTRY TO ANY TRADE, OCCUPATION OR PROFESSION ON LEAVING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT.
