THE OBJECTS OF THH ARE: (1) THE RELIEF OR PREVENTION OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, PRIMARILY AMONG 'HOMELESS PEOPLE' IN MANCHESTER AND ELSEWHERE IN THE UK, BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY. (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT CONCERNING THE NATURE, CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF HOMELESSNESS, POVERTY AND DISTRESS THROUGH UNDERTAKING AND SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO POVERTY AND THE MOST APPROPRIATE WAYS TO MITIGATE THESE.
