Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES TO THE CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS WHICH FORM THE AIR AMBULANCE SERVICES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; (2) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON MATTERS RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) PROVIDING ADVICE AND GUIDANCE RELATING TO THE SAFE PARTICIPATION IN LEISURE PURSUITS.
