Charitable objects
3. OBJECTS THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘THE OBJECTS’) ARE A) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH CONGREGATIONAL WORSHIP, FELLOWSHIP AND THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS WITH THE AIM TO FURTHER THE REFORMATION, RESTORATION AND REVIVAL OF THE CHURCH; B) TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; AND C) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY SUCH CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE CHARITABLE OBJECTS THE TRUSTEES WILL THROUGH FELLOWSHIP AND ASSOCIATE TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING, NAMELY: 1. TO WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH RULED ENTIRELY BY THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD FOUND IN THE HOLY BIBLE WHICH IS OUR AUTHORITY OF CONDUCT. WE SHALL BE DISTINCTIVELY KNOWN FOR DEEP STUDY OF THE BIBLE, REVELATORY KNOWLEDGE THEREOF AND FULL OBEDIENCE TO ITS PRECEPTS. 2. TO REPRESENT JESUS CHRIST IN OUR COMMUNITY BY SHARING HIS LOVE, MANIFESTING HIS POWER AND SERVING OURSELVES AND THE COMMUNITY IN LOVE. ACCORDINGLY, WE WILL MAKE POSITIVE IMPACT ON OUR COMMUNITY AS WE ENGAGE WITH THE PROCESS OF MEETING THE PRACTICAL NEEDS OF THOSE WHO NEED HELP MOST INCLUDING THE MOST VULNERABLE AND THOSE WHOSE LIVES NEED MENDING. 3. WE WILL LIVE, MINISTER AND SERVE IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT HEAVEN IS OUR ULTIMATE HOME ACCESSIBLE BY THE HOLY LIFE WE LIVE AND THE GOD KIND OF LOVE HERE ON EARTH. BY THIS WE MEAN THAT WE EXIST TO MANIFEST TO OUR COMMUNITY AND THE NATION, THOSE QUALITIES, TEACHINGS AND PRACTICES THAT CONSTITUTE THE ESSENCE OF THE MISSION OF JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH. IN SO DOING, OUR LIVES, PURPOSE, TEACHINGS AND ACTIVITIES WILL REFLECT THE REALITY OF A HEAVEN BOUND CONGREGATION. 4. TEACHING, TRAINING, EQUIPPING, ACTIVATING OF CHRISTIANS AND RELEASING THEM TO SERVE GOD AND SOCIETY AS DISCIPLES AND FIT FOR PURPOSE MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. 5. SUPPORTING OTHER CHRISTIANS AND MINISTRIES, IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR LOCATIONS TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION BY MAKING AVAILABLE TO ALL, OUR RESOURCES AND SHARING OUR EXPERIENCES FREE OF CHARGE.
