THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE WITHIN BARBADOS AND OTHER CARIBBEAN TERRITORIES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, TRAINING AND GRANTS TO ENABLE THEM TO SET UP THEIR OWN BUSINESSES, IN ORDER TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME SUFFICIENT TO MEET THEIR NEEDS.
