Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION THROUGH THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CONGREGATION AS THE TRUSTEES WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE CONGREGATION LEADER SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. THE "CONGREGATION" IS DEFINED AS THE INTERNATIONAL ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS ORDER KNOWN AS THE DAUGHTERS OF MARY AND JOSEPH AND ESTABLISHED BY DECREE OF THE SACRED CONGREGATION FOR THE RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR INSTITUTES AT ROME.
