Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PRESERVE THE HONEYBEE BY PROMOTING THE CRAFT OF BEEKEEPING AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC OF THE BENEFIT OF BEES IN THE ENVIRONMENT. THE CHARITY WILL GENERALLY OPERATE IN, AND DRAW ITS MEMBERSHIP FROM THE COUNTIES OF LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND ALTHOUGH MEMBERSHIP FROM OUTSIDE THE REGION IS ALLOWED.
