TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR SWIMMING, CYCLING AND RUNNING AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN TRIATHLON, DUATHLON, AQUATHLON AND CROSS TRIATHLON EVENTS (FACILITIES MEANS ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES, EQUIPMENT, BUILDINGS AND LAND). 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC PRIMARILY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN THE SUBJECT OF TRAINING AND NUTRITION, INJURY PREVENTION AND RECOVERY, SWIMMING AND RUNNING TECHNIQUE, BICYCLE HANDLING AND MAINTENANCE.
