Charitable objects
4.0 PURPOSE THE PURPOSE OF THE CIO IS: 4.1 THE CIO HEREBY FOUNDED SHALL BE CALLED " THE JUNE CRANSTON YOUNG INTERNATIONAL CIO OR MINISTRIES (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE “CIO"). 4.2 THE CIO'S OBJECTS (THE “OBJECTS") ARE:- 4.2.1 TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BASIS OF BELIEFS APPEARING IN THE “SCHEDULE 1” HERETO ATTACHED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT; 4.2.2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES OF THE CIO MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT INCLUDING BY MEANS OF ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT OR ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ELSEWHERE; 4.2.3 TO RELIEVE AND PREVENT POVERTY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT; 4.2.3.1 TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND MEET THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH: 4.2.3.2 THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL, SOCIAL, WELFARE AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR LIFE CONDITIONS; 4.2.3.3 THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN MEANINGFUL AND GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; 4.2.4 TO PROMOTE AND FULFIL SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREAS WHERE THE CIO MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE OPERATING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT;
