Charitable objects
THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG PERSONS WHO ARE EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY BECAUSE THEY ARE HOUSE-BOUND, OR WHO ARE UNABLE TO DRIVE OR EASILY ACCESS PUBLIC TRANSPORT WITHIN SOUTHWOLD, REYDON, WALBERSWICK AND THE IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH SERVICES OVER AND ABOVE THOSE WHICH THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES PROVIDE IN ORDER TO RELIEVE SOCIAL ISOLATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. A CAR SERVICE FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO UNDERTAKE A JOURNEY FOR WHICH THERE IS NO FAMILY CAR OR SUITABLE PUBLIC TRANSPORT AVAILABLE; 2. A BEFRIENDERS SERVICE TO HELP ISOLATED AND HOUSEBOUND WITH A VARIETY OF SERVICES - SHOPPING, PRESCRIPTIONS, DOG WALKING, VISITING AND GENERAL SOCIAL CONTACT; AND 3. LUNCH AND TEA CLUBS TO BENEFIT THE ELDERLY, DISABLED OR ISOLATED / HOUSEBOUND BY PROVIDING REGULAR SOCIAL ACTIVITY.
