Charitable objects
TO RESCUE AND PROVIDE TREATMENT, CARE AND REHABILITATION OF SICK AND INJURED SWANS AND CYGNETS AS WELL AS ANY OTHER SPECIES OF WATERFOWL THE TRUSTEES AGREE SHOULD BE TREATED. TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO SCHOOLS, INSTITUTIONS AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ON SWANS AND OTHER WATERFOWL. RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS OF POLLUTION AND HUMAN ACTIVITIES ON SWANS AND OTHER WATERFOWL. TO PROVIDE A TWENTY FOUR HOUR RESCUE SERVICE FOR INJURED SWANS, TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT AND CARE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS. TO PROVIDE TRAINING IN SWAN HANDLING TO POLICE, FIRE, AND RESCUE SERVICES, RSPCA, HIGHWAYS AGENCY, NETWORK RAIL AND ANY OTHER APPROPRIATE ORGANISATIONS. TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO CHILDREN ABOUT WATERFOWL AND THE CHALLENGES TO THEIR ENVIRONMENT AND HABITAT.
