Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THE PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF ENDANGERED SPECIES, SPECIFICALLY, BUT NOT RESTRICTED TO, AFRICAN ELEPHANTS IN TANZANIA. 2) THE PROMOTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF URBAN OR RURAL REGENERATION IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION (AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN TANZANIA; VILLAGES ON THE PERIMETER OF TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK AND SELOUS GAME RESERVE INCLUDING WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS (WMA)), BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: A. THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT, THROUGH POSITIONS WITHIN THE CHARITY ON THE FIELD SITE, AND WITHIN THE LOCAL NATIONAL PARKS, AS GUIDES AND DRIVERS, AND OWNERS OF BEEHIVES WHO CAN PRODUCE AND SELL HONEY AS FORM OF INCOME, AND EMPLOYMENT AS CAMPSITE MANAGERS, WHERE TOURISTS CAN RESIDE WITHIN THE WMA; B. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR RETRAINING, PARTICULARLY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE, AND PROVIDING UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE WITH WORK EXPERIENCE WHERE VILLAGERS WILL TAKE PART IN OFFICIAL RANGER TRAINING PROGRAMMES ORGANIZED THROUGH TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK AND THE INDEPENDENT TANZANIAN PARK AUTHORITIES (TANAPA); C. THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES, WITH THE INSTALLATION OF MUCH NEEDED WATER TOWERS, WATER PUMPS AND DISPENSARIES; D. THE PROTECTION OR CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW LAND USE CRITERIA TO PROTECT ELEPHANT MIGRATION CORRIDORS, AND IMPROVING THE PROVISION OF THE ECO-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION WITHIN WMAS; AND E. SUCH OTHER MEANS AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED, SUBJECT TO THE PRIOR CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FOR ENGLAND AND WALES.
