THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED IN TILLINGTON, PETWORTH IN WEST SUSSEX FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: 1. HELPING TO FACILITATE ACCESS TO CERTAIN CORE SERVICES, MAINLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY HEALTH RELATED SERVICES FOR PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY DISABLED OR DISTRESSED MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY; 2. PROVIDING SUPPORT THAT WILL ENSURE THAT PATIENTS RECENTLY DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL ARE LINKED TO ANY OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THEM IF THEY SO WISH TO USE OR ACCESS THOSE SERVICES; 3. FACILITATING CONTACT WITH RELEVANT AGENCIES TO ASSIST THOSE IN NEED WITH APPLYING FOR ELIGIBLE BENEFITS &/ GRANTS; AND 4. SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
