Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES AND PUBLIC CELEBRATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISLAMIC BELIEFS. 3) TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF NEWPORT AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS. 4) TO RELIEVE POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND SERVICES. 5) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
