Charitable objects
3. Objects The objects of the CIO are to assist persons experiencing poverty or social injustice in the Liverpool City Region, in particular (but not exclusively) those from underrepresented groups including Refugees, Asylum Seekers and those from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds in such ways as the Trustees from time to time think fit but in particular by:- a) Providing food and other household items through foodbanks or community markets b) Providing advice and support to overcome financial problems and maximise their income c) Raising public awareness of issues relating to poverty, both generally and in relation to social exclusion d) Signposting to relevant information and advisory services. e) The preservation and protection of good physical and mental health of individuals, families and the wider community of the area of benefit including the development of employability programmes to assist individuals to contribute productively to society.
