Charitable objects
1) TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR REFUGEES (INCLUDING CONVENTION REFUGEES, REFUGEE COMMUNITIES, PEOPLE WITH EXCEPTIONAL LEAVE TO REMAIN, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND EX-DETAINEES) AND MIGRANTS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP, SICKNESS OR DISTRESS, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, RACE, NATIONALITY, POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF AID, CLOTHING, GOODS, SUPPORT, ADVICE AND EDUCATION 2) THE RELIEF OF HOMELESSNESS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND ADVICE. IN THIS CLAUSE, "CONVENTION REFUGEE" REFERS TO THE 1951 REFUGEE CONVENTION ACCORDING TO WHICH A REFUGEE IS SOMEONE WHO IS UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO RETURN TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN OWING TO A WELL-FOUNDED FEAR OF BEING PERSECUTED FOR REASONS OF RACE, RELIGION, NATIONALITY, MEMBERSHIP OF A PARTICULAR SOCIAL GROUP, OR POLITICAL OPINION.
