Charitable objects
1.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1.1.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF CULTURE AND HERITAGE, AND IN PARTICULAR THE CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF THE PARALYMPIC MOVEMENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE ROLE OF STOKE MANDEVILLE AS THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE PARALYMPIC MOVEMENT, AND THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND ENJOYMENT OF THE SAME; AND 1.1.2 THE PROMOTION OF POSITIVE PUBLIC PERCEPTIONS AND GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF DISABILITY AT BOTH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS. 1.2 THE CHARITY MAY ALSO ADVANCE SUCH OTHER PURPOSES THAT ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT.
