The Kent Disability Support Foundation aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health issues and learning difficulties. To create more cohesive communities within Kent by raising awareness and acceptance. To reduce social isolation, increase life opportunities and offer recovery and support services to people with learning difficulties and mental health issues.

Charitable objects
TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF, AND PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE GOOD MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF PERSONS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES AND/OR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES BY PROVIDING SUCH SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES AS SHALL BE THOUGHT FIT AS A MEANS TO: A) REDUCE THE STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION ASSOCIATED WITH MENTAL HEALTH AND LEARNING DISABILITIES; B) INCREASE THE LIFE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES OR POOR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING; C) CREATE MORE COHESIVE COMMUNITIES WITHIN KENT BY RAISING AWARENESS AND ACCEPTANCE OF LEARNING DIFFICULTIES AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES; AND D) REDUCE SOCIAL ISOLATION AND OFFER RECOVERY AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.
