3. OBJECT(S) THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN THE KENT AREA WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR DISABILITY, ETHNICITY OR RACE IN PARTICULAR, PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILL HEALTH TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY: (1)RELIEVING SOCIAL ISOLATION BY OFFERING RECOVERY AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILL HEALTH AND PROMOTE WELLBEING. (2)PROVIDING RECREATIONAL THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES IN LOCAL COMMUNITY HALLS, PROMOTING SOCIAL NETWORKING WITH PEERS. (3)PROVIDING A LOCAL NETWORK GROUP THAT ENCOURAGES PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILL HEALTH TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY. (4)PROVIDING INFORMATION TO ADVOCATE OR SUPPORT PEOPLE IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY. (5)PROMOTE COHESIVE COMMUNITIES WITHIN KENT BY RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS AND ACCEPTANCE OF MENTAL ILL HEALTH ISSUES, BY LINKING IN WITH OTHER GROUPS IN WIDER THE COMMUNITY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
