PROMOTING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE STUDY INTO THE CAUSES OF CANCER AND ALLIED CONDITIONS, THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS AT HOME, HOSPITAL AND HOSPICE, AND TO PROMOTE AND CO-ORDINATE RESEARCH INTO THE SCIENTIFIC, CLINICAL AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF CANCER PATIENTS AND ARRANGE FOR THE RESULTS OF THE REASEARCH TO BE PUBLISHED AND IN PARTICULAR BY MAKING GRANTS TO SUCH RESEARCH OR OTHERWISE TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH PERSONS.
