Charitable objects

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE LIVING IN LONDON GENERALLY AND THOSE LIVING AND/OR WORKING WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER, IN PARTICULAR, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE TURKISH CYPRIOT COMMUNITY AND ARE AS FOLLOWS: (1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING A COMMUNITY RESOURCE TO A) SIGNPOST THE UNEMPLOYED TO THE RIGHT WELFARE BENEFITS AND HELPING TO FILL FORMS AND ACT AS AN INTERMEDIATE B) HELPING WITH THE PLACEMENT ON TRAINING AND VOCATIONAL COURSES C) PROVIDING TRANSLATION ASSISTANCE D) PROVIDING GENERAL ASSISTANCE IN LIAISING WITH RELEVANT AUTHORITIES REGARDING DAY TO DAY LIVING ISSUES. (2) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS AND CHILDREN IN THE ENGLISH AND TURKISH LANGUAGES AND IN THE HISTORY TRADITIONS AND CULTURE OF ENGLAND, TURKEY AND CYPRUS.
