Charitable objects
(A) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND, ESPECIALLY BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC COMMUNITIES, IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; (B) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BY: I) THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE OR RELIGION; II) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY; III) CONDUCTING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC; IV) CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY.
