Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES REFERRED TO IN THE STATEMENT OF FAITH:- 4.1. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF PEOPLE LIVING IN BARNET, NORTH LONDON AND SUCH OTHER PLACES AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE, IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES; 4.2. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH MAINLY AMONG PEOPLE RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN BARNET, NORTH LONDON AND SUCH OTHER PLACES AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE; AND 4.3. TO FULFIL SUCH OTHER PURPOSES WHICH ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AND ARE CONNECTED WITH THE WORK OF THE CIO.
