Activities - how the charity spends its money
To promote all genre of literature by the establishment and maintenance of an annual literary event, the Penzance Literary Festival for 4 days in July every year, and a number of LitFest Extra events during the year. To work with local youth and schools to advance education, appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of all forms of literature.

B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTING AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE APPRECIATION, UNDERSTANDING AND ENJOYMENT OF LITERATURE.
