THE OBJECT OF THE SOCIETY IS TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE THE CARE AND SAFETY OF CRITICALLY ILL INFANTS AND CHILDREN, AND IN PARTICULAR, 1) THE ADVANCEMENT AND PROMOTION OF THOSE BRANCHES OF MEDICAL SCIENCE CONCERNED WITH CRITICAL CARE OF INFANTS AND CHILDREN; AND 2) THE PROMOTION OF STUDY AND RESEARCH INTO CRITICAL CARE OF INFANTS AND CHILDREN AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULT OF SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH.
