THE OBJECTIVES OF THE LEILA SAILING TRUST ARE:
1. THE PRESERVATION OF THE UK'S MARITIME HERITAGE BY THE MAINTENANCE OF THE VICTORIAN SAILING YACHT LEILA.
2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY THE PROVISION OF SAIL TRAINING.
3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMATEUR SPORT BY ENTERING YOUTH TEAMS FOR TALL SHIPS RACES.
