THE OBJECTS OF FOVP ARE: (1) FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL INHABITANTS OF AND VISITORS TO THE LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH, TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN VAUXHALL PARK FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (2) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PROTECTION, CONSERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF VAUXHALL PARK, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY ENCOURAGING VOLUNTEERS TO HELP MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE PARK; AND (3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE PARK AND IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND HORTICULTURE.
