THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, ENHANCEMENT AND PROTECTION OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE TAMAR VALLEY AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY (TVAONB) EXCLUSIVELY, TAKING ACCOUNT OF THE NEEDS OF AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY, OTHER RURAL INDUSTRIES AND OF THE ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL NEEDS OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES, BY (A) PROVIDING GRANTS (B) BY CARRYING OUT RESEARCH (C) BY RAISING AWARENESS (D) BY PROVIDING INFORMATION (E) BY PROVIDING ADVICE (F) BY ANY OTHER LEGAL UNDERTAKING DEEMED APPROPRIATE.
