THE PURPOSE OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF AND PREVENTION OF POVERTY IN THE KATHMANDU VALLEY AND BEYOND THROUGH ENABLING CHILDREN FROM DISADVANTAGED HOUSEHOLDS (DUE TO SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES)TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FULL TIME SCHOOLING OPPORTUNITIES. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY MAKING GRANTS. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE "DEPRIVED" OR "DEPRIVATION" MEANS LACKING MATERIAL BENEFITS CONSIDERED TO BE BASIC NECESSITIES IN NAPALESE SOCIETY.
