To assist in the treatment and care of women suffering from obstetric anal sphincter injuries by: (1) Supporting mothers with the injury; (2) Increasing awareness of said condition amongst medical and healthcare professionals; and (c) Conducting study and research for the public benefit into the causes and subsequent treatment and publishing and disseminating the useful results.
