The Portsmouth Schools Music Festival has been in existence for 92 years this year! In that time, the Festival has given a continuing opportunity for children in many schools from Portsmouth and the surrounding area to celebrate their talents and their music at an annual gathering at the Portsmouth Guildhall.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE FESTIVAL SHALL BE TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN MUSICAL EDUCATION AND THE PERFORMING ARTS IN GENERAL, IN THE GUISE OF CHOIRS, ENSEMBLES, DANCE AND DRAMA GROUPS, BY PRESENTATION OF ANNUAL PUBLIC CONCERTS AT THE END OF THE ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR AS DETERMINED BY THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE.
