KidsAid is a child-centred charity. We support traumatised children through the delivery of long-term, evidence-based therapies. Our aim is to improve child mental health and empower families to thrive so that childhood trauma does not become a lifelong burden. The KidsAid Foundation (Charity Number: 1122047 ) was established in 2007. We have since become a CIO (1167852).

Charitable objects
For the public benefit, to promote the preservation of mental health, and to assist in relieving and rehabilitating persons suffering from, or at risk of suffering from mental disorders, or conditions of emotional distress, particularly individuals affected by trauma, through: 1. Providing Comprehensive Mental Health Services: Offering a wide range of mentoring, well-being, counselling and psychotherapeutic interventions for children, young people, adults, and families. 2. Promoting Secure Attachments and Positive Relationships: Encouraging and facilitating the development of secure attachments and positive relationships to support mental well-being. 3. Community Outreach: Providing horticulture, recreational sport, arts and crafts, peer support and befriending services to increase social connection and improve mental health and wellbeing. 4. Advocacy and Education: Conducting advocacy, campaigning, and educational activities to raise professional and public awareness about mental health issues. 5. Supporting Professionals: Offering clinical supervision and training for volunteers, counsellors, therapists, and other professionals to enhance the quality and availability of support for individuals in need.
