Busen Martial Arts & Sports Trust is working with London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to build a martial arts and fitness centre to open in September 2022. The new centre located in Stanley Road, Twickenham, will comprise 2 dojo areas and a fitness suite. Core activities will be martial arts and other fitness activities. It will be managed by the charity with a projected turnover of £250,000.

Charitable objects
3.1 TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. 3.2 THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMATEUR SPORT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR MARTIAL ARTS SUCH AS JUDO AND KARATE AS WELL AS OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING HEALTH.
