HOLDING PUBLIC MEETINGS FOR THE READING OF ORIGINAL PAPERS AND THE DELIVERY OF LECTURES; 3. EXTENDING KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCIENCE THROUGH DEMONSTRATION AND PUBLICATION; 4. AWARDING GRANTS AND BURSARIES; AND 5. BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE COUNCIL OF CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.
