THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC:
TO RELIEVE POVERTY, DISTRESS AND HARDSHIP AMONG CHILDREN PARTICULARLY THOSE ABANDONED, ORPHANED, IMPOVERISHED OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE IN NEED, WHICH IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF AND MAY EVEN SAVE LIVES.
