THE TRUSTEES MAY AS AND WHEN THEY THINK FIT OUT OF THE INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND MAKE GIFTS OR LOANS TO ANY PERSON IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES WHO IS EITHER (A) A MEMBER OR FORMER MEMBER OF HER MAJESTY'S FORCES AND BEING ALSO A MEMBER OF THE RAMSBOTTOM BRANCH OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION. OR (B) THE WIDOW, WIDOWER OR CHILD OF SUCH A PERSON DESCRIBED AT (A) ABOVE. PROVIDED NEVERTHELESS THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL BE SATISFIED THAT SUCH PERSON IS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE.
