(1) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WITH A DISABILITY (INCLUDING LEARNING DISABILITY, PHYSICAL DISABILITY, SENSORY IMPAIRMENT, BEHAVIOURAL AND EMOTIONAL DIFFICULTIES), WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL MEANS, OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY THE PROVISION OF PLAY, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES; AND (2) IN UNDERTAKING THE ABOVE, TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FAMILIES OF SUCH CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS TO OBTAIN RESPITE AND SUPPORT.
